Making Structures "Smart"

In addition to the SmartPile® Workstation, Smart Structures also provides a product called the SmartPile® Gateway that provides autonomous data collection from SmartPile® sensors.  One or more Gateway devices are typically installed on a structure under construction (or elsewhere on the jobsite) which wireless collect data from all SmartPile® sensors within a 1,000+ foot radius. Like the Workstation and Gateway has a high-speed wireless link to the Internet to upload sensor data to the SmartPile® Portal.

The SmartPile® Gateway is remotely controlled from the SmartPile® Portal and can be programmed to collect data on a schedule, monitor for particular events or sensor thresholds, and report data based on various rules and scenarios.
